Parent Coaching to Reinforce What We Build Together
Practical strategies you can use at home to reinforce what we work on in sessions. Because what happens between sessions matters just as much as the sessions themselves.
Equipping parents to be their child’s best support
Parenting a child with ADHD is exhausting, confusing, and often lonely. We give you the knowledge, tools, and strategies to feel confident and effective at home.
We help parents understand what’s actually happening neurologically so that behaviors feel less personal and responses become more effective.
We help you design a homework space, evening routine, and morning routine that reduces friction and supports your child’s needs.
Whatever your child is learning with their tutor, we make sure you know how to reinforce it. Progress doubles when home and sessions are aligned.
Many ADHD parents feel like they’re constantly failing. We work with you to rebuild confidence and replace guilt with practical, workable strategies.
You might benefit from parent coaching if…
You don’t have to have it all figured out. Parent coaching is for caregivers who are trying their hardest and want better tools.
What parent coaching sessions look like
We start by listening. What are the biggest challenges? What have you tried? What does a hard day look like at your house? We need the full picture to help you effectively.
We help parents understand the neuroscience behind their child’s behavior. When behavior makes sense, it becomes easier to respond rather than react.
Together we develop practical, realistic strategies for your specific home situation. These aren’t generic tips. They are tailored to your child, your schedule, and your family.
We check in regularly on what’s working and adjust as needed. Parenting an ADHD child is not a one-size-fits-all journey and neither is our coaching.
Common questions
No. Parent coaching is available as a standalone service. Many families use it on its own, and others combine it with their child’s tutoring for the best results.
No. Parent coaching is practical and skills-focused. It is about strategies and understanding, not mental health treatment. If we feel a family would benefit from additional support, we’ll say so.
Absolutely. We encourage it. When both caregivers are aligned, it makes a significant difference in how consistently strategies are applied at home.
Most families meet with a coach every one to two weeks. The frequency depends on your goals and where you are in the process. We’ll recommend what makes sense for your situation.
