IEP Support That Actually Moves the Needle
We align our tutoring directly with your child’s school plan so every session reinforces what their school has agreed to provide. Nothing falls through the cracks.Individualized Education Program. Legally binding plan for students with qualifying disabilities.
Accommodation plan under Section 504. Common for ADHD students who need support but not special ed services.
Tutoring that works alongside your child’s school plan
Having an IEP or 504 plan is one thing. Making sure it’s actually being implemented and that your child is benefiting from it is another. We bridge that gap.
We review your child’s current IEP or 504 and build our sessions around their stated goals and accommodations. Everything is connected.
Each session targets skills tied directly to your child’s IEP goals, whether that’s reading fluency, math reasoning, writing, or organizational skills.
We help parents understand their rights, prepare for IEP meetings, and know what questions to ask so they can advocate effectively for their child.
We track and document progress in the skill areas outlined in your child’s plan. This can support conversations with the school about what is and isn’t working.
Is your child in this situation?
You don’t have to navigate the school system alone. We help families who feel like the plan exists on paper but isn’t making a real difference yet.
How we support IEP and 504 families
After your consultation, share your child’s current IEP or 504. We review the goals, accommodations, and areas of concern before the first session.
Sessions are structured to support the specific skills and goals in your child’s plan. We don’t just tutor in general. We tutor with purpose and direction.
We share progress notes that can be useful context for school meetings and help you understand what your child’s accommodations should actually look like in practice.
IEPs are updated annually and 504s are reviewed regularly. As your child’s plan changes, our tutoring approach adapts to stay aligned with the current goals.
Common questions
No. Many of our students don’t have a formal plan yet. We support children at all stages, whether they’re newly diagnosed, in the process of evaluation, or already have a plan in place.
Yes. IEP documents can be dense and confusing. We help parents understand the language, what the goals mean in practice, and what to expect from the school.
That depends on the family’s preference. Some parents want us to share notes with teachers or the school team. Others prefer we communicate only with them. We follow your lead.
This is unfortunately common. We can help you understand your rights as a parent and what steps you can take. We are advocates for your child as much as we are tutors.
